WALLES ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT
Charles A. Walles, president of Covenant Trust Company, has announced his retirement as of December 31, 2010. A committee chaired by David A. Dwight is currently conducting a search for his replacement.
Walles came to Covenant Trust in 1991 as the Financial Services Representative for Mid-America In 1995 he was named Vice President of Marketing; and was appointed as President in 2001. Under his leadership, Covenant Trust Company has continued its steady growth and ministry of service as a financial services resource to the people and ministries of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
In making the announcement, Walles said: "I have been blessed to be part of Covenant Trust Company for nineteen years. It has been the most significant time of my life. I have been privileged to work
with
wonderful people on the CTC staff, and
for
wonderful people who serve and support The Evangelical Covenant Church. My greatest joy has been the opportunity to help people do what they wanted to do for their families and for God's Kingdom, but didn't know how to do themselves."
