When a Loved One Dies

Dealing with death is never easy.  Grieving is an essential and natural part of healing.  “One day at a time” is a good maxim to follow during this period.  Don’t be afraid to express your grief, seek out those who will listen, support you, encourage you and pray with you.

There are many details which need to be handled during this time; and you may not remember—or even know about—important things that have to be done.  The important thing to remember is:  don’t be afraid to ask for help.  Talk to your legal and financial advisors, your pastor, and your local Covenant Trust Company Financial Services Representative.  [view Directory]

Going on…After the Death of a Spouse has checklists that may help you with funeral arrangements, people to notify, important documents, financial and tax matters, and personal needs.

Covenant Trust Company® is available to provide information and resources.  Please don’t hesitate to contact us.
